Rogers Sugar Inc. has signed a five-year agreement with Alberta Sugar Beet Growers for the supply of sugar beets to its Taber sugar refining plant. The deal covers harvests from 2025 to 2029, ensuring 100% Canadian sugar production at the Taber facility, supported by around 200 farming families in southern Alberta. This agreement will help meet customer needs in Western Canada, according to Mike Walton, President, and CEO of Lantic Inc. and Rogers Sugar Inc. Rogers Sugar, based in Montreal, operates sugar refineries in Montreal, Vancouver, and Taber, along with distribution centers in Toronto.
