Hackers stole $2.15 million in Mobius Token ($MBU) smart contract exploit on the BNB Chain. Attacker drained 28.5 million MBU tokens and converted them to stablecoins, resulting in total loss. Critical exploit detected by Cyvers Alerts, with attacker’s wallet still active. Losses near $360 million in April across 18 hacking incidents, a 990% increase from March. Largest loss from unauthorized Bitcoin transfer of $330 million in social engineering attack on elderly victim in the US.
