U.S. and China also announced a temporary rollback of trade levies, with U.S. duties reduced to 30 percent and China reducing tariffs on U.S. goods to 10 percent. The BSE Sensex soared 3.74 percent, Nifty closed up 3.82 percent, with IT stocks leading the surge and Sun Pharma and IndusInd Bank seeing declines.
