NBA legend Michael Jordan joins NBC as a special contributor to NBA broadcasts, marking his first partnership with a major broadcaster since his retirement in 2003. NBC recently signed an 11-year deal with the NBA to broadcast games across NBC Sports and Peacock starting this fall. In addition to Jordan, NBC will feature Jamal Crawford, Reggie Miller, Carmelo Anthony, Mike Tirico, Noah Eagle, and an AI-generated voice of the late Jim Fagan in its NBA coverage. NBC is aiming to bring back ’90s nostalgia to NBA viewers with the return of player introductions and the iconic anthem “Roundball Rock” by John Tesh.
