Goldman Sachs is expanding its AI toolkit, with plans to release an AI assistant to most staff this year. The firm’s tech chief predicts that nearly “100%” of the global workforce will interact with AI within three years. The AI tools aim to boost productivity, offering functions like drafting presentations and translating languages.

Goldman Sachs has rolled out AI-powered tools for 10,000 employees, with plans to expand to all 46,000+ staff. CEO David Solomon expects AI to transform engineering capabilities. The tools, built on the GS AI Platform, include an AI Assistant, banker copilot, and Legend AI Query for data access and management.

Goldman’s AI tools, like the GS AI Assistant and banker copilot, aim to streamline tasks for employees, offering efficiency gains of up to 20%. The Legend AI Query tool uses natural language descriptions to access data quickly and efficiently. The Legend Copilot assists data engineers in maintaining and organizing data within the system.

Translate AI is an in-house solution for language translation, enabling quick translations to and from English. The tool is used by teams across different divisions to communicate with clients globally. The AI tools aim to enhance productivity and efficiency across various functions within the firm.
