Spirit Airlines has announced new premium options for travelers, including extra-legroom seating and a two-free-checked-bags policy for cardholders. The new seating will be installed starting in June, with the bags policy rolling out later in 2025. This move is part of the airline’s strategy to attract wealthier leisure travelers after exiting bankruptcy. Other airlines like United and American are also introducing luxury services. Southwest, however, recently ended its “two bags fly free” policy.
