Mowi reported operating revenues of EUR 1.36 billion in Q1 2025, with an operational profit of EUR 214 million, showing growth compared to the same period in 2024 due to strong performance in volume and cost. Harvest volume reached 108,000 tonnes, a 12% increase from last year, with a target of 530,000 tonnes for 2025.

CEO Ivan Vindheim noted that 2025 has been a good year for Mowi operationally and biologically, resulting in high harvest volumes and record-high biomass in the sea. The company aims to harvest 600,000 tonnes in 2026 after acquiring a majority stake in Nova Sea. Seawater production in Q1 showed improvements in growth, survival rates, and feed conversion ratio.

Mowi Consumer Products saw a strong quarter, driven by high demand for salmon and improved downstream earnings across regions. However, market prices were pressured by high supply growth globally, with Europe experiencing a 13% increase in the first quarter. Mowi Feed also had a successful quarter, achieving record-high earnings and sold volumes.

Mowi’s Board declared a quarterly dividend of NOK 1.70 per share. The company’s focus on volume growth has been successful, with a projected CAGR of 5.1% by the end of 2025. Mowi remains committed to organic growth initiatives to further increase its farming volumes. The company’s feed division continues to play a crucial role in its volume growth strategy.
