ARC Resources is acquiring Montney assets in Alberta, expecting to increase free funds flow.

ARC Resources Ltd. has agreed to acquire condensate-rich Montney assets in Alberta from Strathcona Resources Ltd. for C$1.6 billion. The transaction, effective April 1, 2025, is expected to close in early July 2025. The assets will add about 40,000 boe per day of current production, including 11,000 barrels per day of condensate. The acquisition is expected to increase free funds flow per share by 10% in 2026, based on current strip prices. ARC plans to return all free funds flow to shareholders through a growing base dividend and share repurchases.
