Longer-term bond yields rose on Tuesday due to concerns of stronger economic growth, with the 30-year yield reaching 4.942%, the highest since January 14th when it closed at 4.983%. This creates opportunities for investors to buy, but also leads to lower prices for the trillions of dollars in government bonds held by investors.
