Ford Motor Company is recalling 273,789 Expedition and Lincoln Navigator SUVs due to a potential brake defect. The issue could cause a brake fluid leak, leading to longer brake pedal travel and a reduction in deceleration. Only about 1% of vehicles are affected, with no reported crashes or injuries. Owners are advised to bring their vehicles to a dealership for inspection and potential replacement of parts at no cost.
Waymo LLC is recalling 1,212 autonomous vehicles to address software issues that could lead to collisions with road barriers. Waymo operates over 1,500 vehicles, providing 250,000 autonomous rides per week. Volvo has also issued a recall affecting 413,151 U.S. vehicles due to a malfunctioning rearview camera system, which will be fixed through a software update.
