The Hong Kong stock market dropped almost 300 points in two sessions, with the Hang Seng Index just below 23,350 points. Global markets are optimistic about tariffs and trade outlooks, with European and U.S. markets up. On Friday, the Hang Seng closed lower as financial shares, property stocks, and tech companies declined. Major U.S. indexes ended higher on Friday, with the Dow up 0.78%, NASDAQ up 0.52%, and S&P 500 up 0.70%. The NASDAQ surged 7.2% for the week. Oil prices rose on Friday, with WTI crude jumping 1.4% to $62.49 a barrel.
