Leading storage and server manufacturers are collaborating with NVIDIA to develop a new class of AI infrastructure using the NVIDIA AI Data Platform. This reference design is being utilized by global storage system leaders to support AI reasoning agents and unlock valuable information from enterprise documents, videos, and PDFs.
NVIDIA-Certified Storage partners, including DDN, Dell Technologies, HPE, Hitachi Vantara, IBM, NetApp, Nutanix, Pure Storage, VAST Data, and WEKA, are introducing products and solutions built on the NVIDIA AI Data Platform. This platform includes NVIDIA accelerated computing, networking, and software components for optimized performance.
Original design manufacturers (ODMs) like AIC, ASUS, Foxconn, Quanta Cloud Technology, Supermicro, and Wistron are developing new storage and server hardware platforms that support the NVIDIA reference design. These platforms feature NVIDIA GPUs, BlueField DPUs, and Ethernet networking for running NVIDIA AI Enterprise software and enhancing AI agent capabilities.
The integration of the NVIDIA AI Data Platform-based solutions allows enterprises to quickly deploy storage and data platforms that can scan, index, classify, and retrieve large amounts of private and public documents in real time. This integration enhances AI agents as they reason and plan to solve complex, multistep problems.
By building agentic AI infrastructure with the NVIDIA AI Data Platform, enterprises can turn data into actionable knowledge using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) software like NVIDIA NeMo Retriever microservices and the AI-Q NVIDIA Blueprint. This boosts AI accuracy across various use cases, enabling quicker and more precise responses from AI agents and customer service representatives.
Storage system leaders are showcasing the AI Data Platform to power agentic AI infrastructure, embedding NVIDIA GPUs, networking, and NIM microservices closer to storage to enhance AI queries. Data platform leaders like IBM, NetApp, and VAST Data are utilizing the NVIDIA reference design to scale their AI technologies for improved inferencing and content-aware storage services.
ODMs are innovating on AI Data Platform hardware to bring innovative servers and storage designs to enterprises more efficiently. Companies like AIC, ASUS, Foxconn, Supermicro, Quanta Cloud Technology, Wistron, and Wiwynn are developing accelerated server and storage appliances compatible with the AI Data Platform, incorporating NVIDIA GPUs, BlueField DPUs, and Ethernet SuperNICs for accelerated compute and data movement.
