Foxconn and NVIDIA are accelerating the use of robotics in the global healthcare industry

The global healthcare system is facing a shortage of 4.5 million nurses by 2030 due to high burnout. Foxconn is helping with NVIDIA-accelerated solutions like Nurabot, a nursing robot that handles tasks such as transporting medication. Taiwan’s medical centers are using Foxconn’s smart hospital applications, including AI models and digital twins for facility management.

Foxconn’s smart hospital solution involves high-performance computing in the data center to develop large AI foundation models like FoxBrain. Trained on NVIDIA Hopper GPUs, FoxBrain can perform text-to-speech and natural language processing. The company also utilizes the Honhai Super AI Computing Center 1 with NVIDIA DGX systems to develop healthcare-specific AI models for tasks such as retinal imaging and cancer screening.
