Belgian insurance company P&V Group is the first to utilize the Guidewire Cloud Platform, migrating core applications for underwriting, billing, and claims operations. The move to the cloud is expected to streamline IT operations and improve service for policyholders. P&V Group has been using Guidewire solutions since 2014.

The shift to the Guidewire Cloud Platform will enhance innovation and provide access to a marketplace of leading insurtechs for P&V Group. The platform enables regular updates and features, ensuring the company remains current. Guidewire Cloud is used by over 570 insurers globally, supporting growth and operational efficiency.

Guidewire senior vice-president Will McAllister praised P&V Group for its dedication to innovation in customer experience. The Guidewire Cloud Platform will help the insurer remove technical debt, improve efficiency, and drive profitability. The move follows a similar transition by Canadian insurer Beneva to the Guidewire Cloud.
