French President Emmanuel Macron announced at the “Choose France” business summit that 20 billion euros of new investments will be secured, including projects in defense, energy, industry, and artificial intelligence. This marks a successful effort to attract international business leaders and improve perceptions of France’s economy. Macron also highlighted an additional 20 billion euros in AI-focused projects. Among the pledges made, U.S. logistics giant Prologis plans to invest 6.4 billion euros in data centers in Paris, and fintech Revolut will invest 1 billion euros in expanding in France. Other announcements came from the United Arab Emirates’ AI-focused MGX fund and companies like Amazon and Less Common Metals Limited. Macron emphasized the importance of investing in AI, green tech, defense, and security to stay competitive.
