Regulus Resources Inc. provided an update on the Phase Two metallurgical test program with Nuton LLC for the Coimolache Sulphide/AntaKori copper-gold project. The Phase Two program is evaluating Nuton’s proprietary sulphide bio-leaching technology on enargite-rich high-sulphidation mineralization at the AntaKori project. Initial results show promising copper extractions of 88.3% for enargite-rich mineralization and 87.9% for porphyry-hosted chalcopyrite mineralization.

The Company reported progress on four test columns in the Phase Two program, with positive results for copper extraction using Nuton’s bio-leaching technology on both mineralization types. Conditions for optimal copper extraction are being refined, with the highest extractions at 88.3% for enargite-rich mineralization and 87.9% for chalcopyrite mineralization. Additional columns are being tested to further optimize conditions.

Regulus and Coimolache are collaborating on the Integrated Sulphide Project resource estimate, with SRK Peru developing the estimate. The integrated geological model has been created, blending views on geology, structure, and mineralization styles to support the resource estimate. The study is expected to be completed mid-year, with results to be shared upon mutual agreement between the Parties.

CEO John Black expressed optimism about the Phase Two program with Nuton, highlighting the conditions established for attractive copper extraction from different mineralization types. Progress on the integrated resource estimate with Coimolache is also noted, with SRK Peru working on the estimate. The Company looks forward to receiving the final results soon and continues to view Nuton’s bio-leaching technology as a potential processing option for AntaKori’s mineralization.
