CloudSEK, an AI-powered cyber threat prediction company, secures $19m in funding from investors in India and the US, including MassMutual Ventures and Commvault. Founded in 2015 by Rahul Sasi, CloudSEK serves over 250 enterprises and plans to use the capital for product innovation and global expansion.

The funding rounds received support from CloudSEK’s earlier backers, such as Meeran Family and Exfinity Ventures. The company’s platform focuses on identifying initial attack vectors like leaked credentials and exposed APIs to prevent breaches before they occur. CloudSEK aims to be proactive in cybersecurity, not reactive.

CloudSEK’s co-founder and CEO, Rahul Sasi, highlighted the company’s focus on predicting threats before they escalate, emphasizing the importance of early detection of potential threats. The company’s VP of Finance, Kalyan Kumar Vattipalli, mentioned CloudSEK’s significant growth in annual recurring revenue over the past 24 months, attracting interest from global financial investors.

CloudSEK plans to use the funding to further enhance its AI models and platform integrations to improve threat prediction capabilities. The company’s goal is to continue expanding globally and staying ahead of cyber threats by identifying and mitigating potential risks early on.
