Tom Brady, Kevin Durant, and Alex Rodriguez will compete against fans in a skills-based competition at Fanatics Fest 2025 in NYC. Prizes totaling over $2 million include a $1 million cash prize, a Ferrari, and a Lebron James collectors card. Fans can apply to compete in various sports challenges. Last year’s event drew 70,000 attendees, and this year, Fanatics hopes to draw 100,000. Fanatics, founded by Michael Rubin in 2011, has expanded to include trading cards, sports memorabilia, live shopping, betting, and events. Fifty fans will be selected to compete against celebrities like Kevin Hart, Rob Gronkowski, James Harden, and Jordan Chiles in various sports challenges. Fans can apply by submitting a video on the Fanatics app. Fanatics Fest, despite representing a small fraction of the company’s business, creates positive sentiment around the company.
