Roots, a provider of AI solutions for insurance, appoints Robin Spaulding as head of insurance. With 30 years of P&C industry experience, she will focus on enhancing insurance capabilities, modernizing processes, and accelerating AI integration. Spaulding’s role includes working closely with product, engineering, and customer success teams.
Spaulding, a Drake University graduate, began her career as a claims representative. She has held senior leadership roles in insurance and worked as a consultant and global insurance expert, assisting insurers in developing operating models and integrating new technology platforms, including AI.
Roots CEO Chaz Perera welcomes Spaulding, highlighting her operational insight and transformative strategy abilities. Spaulding’s experience, from claims to executive roles, will be crucial as Roots continues to expand agentic AI possibilities in the insurance sector. Frontline Insurance recently implemented AI agents from Roots to enhance claims and underwriting operations.
