D-Wave Quantum Inc. (NYSE:QBTS) saw a 27.6% surge in its stock after announcing the availability of its Advantage2 quantum computer, the company’s most advanced system with over 4,400 qubits and enhanced connectivity for solving complex problems.

CEO Alan Baratz highlighted that the Advantage2 system delivers a 40% increase in energy scale, 75% noise reduction, and a twofold increase in qubit coherence time while maintaining energy efficiency. The system can be installed on-site or accessed through D-Wave’s Leap quantum cloud service.

D-Wave’s revenue grew by 500% year-over-year in Q1, reaching $15 million, positioning the company for continued success in the quantum computing market.
