Bitcoin mining profitability decreased in April due to higher network hashrate

Bitcoin BTC mining profitability fell by 6.6% in April as network hashrate increased by 6.7%, according to Jefferies. U.S. publicly listed mining companies produced 3,277 BTC, down from 3,534 in March, accounting for 24.1% of total network. MARA Holdings mined the most at 705 BTC, with the highest installed hashrate at 57.3 EH/s. IREN had the highest implied uptime at around 97%.
