Nigeria and Ghana are leading in crypto regulation, with Nigeria enacting new securities laws for digital assets.

South Africa emerges as a crypto leader in Africa, positioning itself as a regional hub for digital assets. The country’s strong legal infrastructure and business-friendly environment make it appealing for crypto companies. The FSCA has approved 59 crypto platform licenses by March 2024, with over 260 applications under review.
