Pending home sales in April dropped 6.3%, with all four U.S. regions experiencing month-over-month losses. Year-over-year, contract signings rose in the Midwest but fell in the Northeast, South, and West, with the West seeing the biggest decline. The Pending Home Sales Index fell 6.3% to 71.3 in April, with pending transactions down 2.5% year-over-year.
