GE Aerospace CEO sees supply chain improvements despite tariff hit

GE Aerospace’s CEO expects a 15-20% increase in jet engine deliveries this year due to supply chain improvements. Despite a $500 million hit from tariffs, GE Aerospace remains a key player in the narrowbody jet engine market with its LEAP engine. The company signed a deal with Qatar Airways for 400 engines. While the U.S. market faces turbulence, GE’s commercial engine revenue remains strong. CEO Larry Culp is working closely with Boeing to align engine deliveries and production. Supply chain challenges persist, but GE Aerospace is making progress in increasing deliveries in sync with Boeing.
