IBIT Attracts $409M in Assets as Markets Decline

The iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) saw inflows of $409.3 million, reaching $72.4 billion in total assets amid market declines. The Direxion Daily S&P 500 Bull 3x Shares (SPXL) attracted $367 million, while semiconductor ETFs like iShares Semiconductor ETF (SOXX) and VanEck Semiconductor ETF (SMH) gained significant inflows. SPDR Gold Shares (GLD) also added $334.2 million.
On the flip side, the iShares Core S&P 500 ETF (IVV) experienced outflows of $326.6 million, and the iShares Russell 1000 Growth ETF (IWF) lost $240.1 million. The iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF (TLT) also saw outflows of $137.2 million as bond yields rose.
Overall, U.S. fixed-income ETFs gained $984.6 million in inflows, while international equity ETFs attracted $747.2 million. Commodities ETFs added $490.9 million, and currency ETFs pulled in $430.8 million, contributing to the $3.7 billion increase in ETF assets for the day.
