Seacoast Banking Corporation of Florida (NASDAQ:SBCF) acquires Villages Bancorporation, Inc. (VBI) for $710.8 million, offering VBI stockholders $1,000 in cash and 38.5 SBCF shares per share. The acquisition includes $1.3 billion in loans, $3.5 billion in deposits, and $4.1 billion in assets across 19 branches, strengthening SBCF’s assets to $21 billion post-transaction. The deal is projected to be 22% EPS accretive by 2026.
