Implenia gets contract for work on Nordmainische S-Bahn section in Frankfurt

Implenia secures a €200m contract to build a section of the Nordmainische S-Bahn in Frankfurt, Germany. The project includes tunnel construction, water management, and special foundation services due to its urban location. Construction is set to start in 2026 and finish by 2031, enhancing local transport connections.

The contract was awarded by DB InfraGO, a part of Deutsche Bahn, for the underground section from Konstablerwache to Fechenheim. Implenia will construct the initial pit, underground station pit, tunnel tubes, and civil engineering structures.
