Procter & Gamble to cut 7,000 jobs in restructuring

Procter & Gamble will cut 7,000 jobs, equivalent to 15% of its nonmanufacturing workforce, amid President Trump’s tariffs causing companies to raise prices. The layoffs come as P&G faces slowing growth in the U.S. and plans to increase prices in response to tariffs. The company expects a $600 million hit from tariffs in fiscal 2026. P&G is also planning a broader restructuring effort. Shares of P&G fell over 1% following the announcement.
