Nvidia has once again claimed the title of the world’s most valuable company, surpassing Microsoft with a market value of $3.444 trillion. Both companies, along with Apple, have been vying for the top spot for nearly a year, with all three reaching a market value of over $3 trillion.
Despite Nvidia’s recent gains, its market cap remains below its record high of $3.66 trillion in January. Shares fell after China’s DeepSeek released a low-cost AI model, sparking concerns about American AI firms’ future dominance. Jefferies recently added Nvidia to its list of “Franchise Picks,” highlighting its role as a leading AI accelerator supplier to data centers.
Nvidia’s shares are on the rise in premarket trading, increasing by nearly 1% after overtaking Microsoft in market cap. This surge comes after a day when Nvidia closed at $141.22, pushing its market value to $3.444 trillion, just above Microsoft’s $3.441 trillion. The ongoing competition for the top spot among tech giants continues.
