Foremost Clean Energy Announces 3-Year Exploration Drill

From GlobeNewswire: 2025-06-05 09:00:00

Foremost Clean Energy Ltd. (NASDAQ: FMST) receives a three-year exploration permit for the Murphy Lake South Property in Saskatchewan. The property is strategically located near the LaRocque Lake Conductive Corridor and has shown potential for a significant uranium discovery based on previous drilling results by Denison Mines. The permit allows for geochemical surveys, geophysics, and up to 30 drill holes. CEO Jason Barnard highlights the similarities between Murphy and the high-grade Hurricane Deposit, expressing excitement for a summer drill program with discovery-ready targets. The property is proximal to known high-grade uranium mineralization zones, making it highly prospective for mineral exploration. The strategic location, under-explored basement potential, and geological indicators position Murphy as a high-priority project within Foremost’s uranium exploration portfolio. The company plans a two-phase drill program to test high-priority targets, focusing on the unconformity and underlying basement rocks. Phase 1 drilling in summer 2025 targets semi-brittle graphitic faults identified from historical data, while Phase 2 drilling in winter 2025/2026 will follow up on Phase 1 results and geophysical anomalies. Foremost invites shareholders and investors to a live corporate update featuring Denison’s President and CEO, David Cates, to discuss exploration progress and strategic collaboration. The Company’s goal is to make significant discoveries in collaboration with Denison through systematic and disciplined exploration programs.
