In May, the Morningstar US Market Index rose 5.37%, while the Morningstar US Core Bond Index fell 1.68%. In global markets, the Morningstar Global Markets Index gained 4.80%, and the Morningstar Global Core Bond Index fell 1.42%. Over the past year, global stocks are up 7.06%, and global bonds are up 0.77%.
The top performer among the largest Europe-domiciled stock ETFs last month was the Invesco S&P 500 UCITS ETF, gaining 5.27%. The bottom performer was the iShares Core MSCI EM IMI UCITS ETF, gaining 3.77%.
The iShares VII PLC – iShares Core S&P 500 UCITS ETF gained 5.26% in May, while the iShares Core MSCI World UCITS ETF rose 4.94%. The Vanguard S&P 500 UCITS ETF rose 5.25%, and the Invesco S&P 500 UCITS ETF rose 5.27%. The Vanguard FTSE All-World UCITS ETF rose 4.69%.
Among the largest Europe-domiciled bond ETFs, the iShares € High Yield Corp Bond UCITS ETF gained 0.20%, while the iShares $ Treasury Bond 7-10yr UCITS ETF lost 2.13%. The iShares $ Treasury Bond 0-1yr UCITS ETF lost 0.64%, and the iShares Core € Corp Bond UCITS ETF fell 0.53%.
Out of the 10 largest Europe-domiciled active ETFs, the top performer was the Invesco Global Active ESG Equity UCITS ETF, gaining 5.47%. The bottom performer was the JPMorgan ETFs ICAV – EUR Ultra-Short Income Active UCITS ETF, losing 0.86%. The JPMorgan ETFs ICAV – US Research Enhanced Index Equity Active UCITS ETF rose 5.23%.
