Capital One is limiting lounge access for Venture X and Venture X Business cardholders, requiring additional fees for guests and second cardholders to combat overcrowding. Primary cardholders need to spend $75,000 annually to bring complimentary guests to Capital One lounges. American Express also implemented similar measures to minimize crowding in their lounges.

Credit card companies have expanded their airport lounge networks as a key perk for rewards cards, with Capital One’s Venture X card offering lounge access at a lower annual fee compared to American Express and JPMorgan Chase.
