BIL Gains $787M in Assets as Trump/Musk Feud Rattles Markets

In a volatile market, the SPDR Bloomberg 1-3 Month T-Bill ETF (BIL) attracted $786.7 million, increasing its assets to $44.2 billion as the S&P 500 dropped 0.5% and Tesla faced a 14% plunge amid tensions between Trump and Musk. The SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY) gained $715.2 million, while the YieldMax MSTR Option Income Strategy ETF (MSTY) saw inflows of $385.9 million.

Despite tech strength, the Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ) experienced outflows of $978.4 million, while the iShares S&P 500 Growth ETF (IVW) lost $479.2 million. The iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF (TLT) attracted $311 million, and the iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) collected nearly $284 million. Overall, U.S. fixed-income ETFs received $2.5 billion in net inflows.

International equity ETFs attracted $628.9 million, while international fixed-income ETFs pulled in $373 million. U.S. equity ETFs gained $887.7 million, with ETFs overall seeing a net inflow of $4.3 billion as investors moved into short-term Treasurys amid economic concerns.
