Amazon is investing $20 billion in Pennsylvania to build two new data centers for AI infrastructure, with locations in Salem Township and Falls Township under consideration. The company is also partnering with Pennsylvania educational institutions to create training programs for cloud computing careers.

Amazon is ramping up AI expansion, with a $10 billion investment in North Carolina. US firms like Meta and Nvidia are also focusing on AI technology. Crypto mining companies are diversifying into AI, with Riot Platforms, Hive Digital, and others converting operations to run large language models.

Bitcoin mining companies are shifting resources to AI, with TeraWulf selling its stake in a mining facility for $92 million to focus on hosting AI. VanEck estimates that if mining companies dedicate 20% of energy capacity to AI by 2027, they could increase yearly profits by $13.9 billion over 13 years.
