Kontron Transportation wins 26 million euro contract to enhance rail communications in Czech Republic.

Kontron Transportation, a company under Kontron Group, has won a 26 million euros contract from Czech Railways. This project, commissioned by SŽ, will enhance rail communications along a route from the German border to Dolní Žleb, Kralupy, and Vltavou. This follows a previous 34 million euros contract awarded in late 2024 for expanding the GSM-R system between Hranice and the Slovakian border. These projects will provide vital voice and data communication services for the safe and efficient operation of the Czech rail network.
