Ripple Announces $5M Grant APAC Universities

Ripple Labs to allocate an additional $5 million for academic research in the Asia-Pacific region via its University Blockchain Research Initiative (UBRI). Partnerships with universities in Taiwan, Australia, Japan, and Singapore have received grants totaling over $6.9 million. UBRI focuses on real-world asset tokenization and AI development on the XRP Ledger. Source: Ripple.
UBRI commits $1.1 million to Yonsei University in South Korea, $1.5 million to Kyoto University and the University of Tokyo in Japan, and over $3 million to universities in Singapore.
