Gibson’s Engineering in Glasgow, Scotland, has won a contract from TfL to refurbish 23 long vehicle wagons, creating 40 new jobs at the St Rollox rail depot. TfL selected GTS Rail Operations to operate the Elizabeth line, a joint venture with Go Ahead Group, Tokyo Metro, and Sumitomo, overseeing the line for seven years with a possible two-year extension.
