Ken Moelis, co-founder of Moelis & Co., will step down as CEO on October 1. Longtime partner Navid Mahmoodzadegan will take over. Moelis co-founder Jeff Raich will become executive vice chair. Moelis, a prominent dealmaker, led the bank since 2007. Succession aims for a smooth transition in leadership. CEO designate Mahmoodzadegan is a Harvard graduate and former UBS executive.
