New NVIDIA AI Blueprint Helps Automate Telco Network Configuration
From NVIDIA: 2025-06-11 07:00:00
Telecom companies spent nearly $295 billion in capital expenditures and over $1 trillion in operating expenditures last year due to manual network optimization processes. NVIDIA unveiled an AI Blueprint for telco network configuration at GTC Paris to automate optimization processes and save costs for telcos globally. The blueprint uses large language models trained on telco network data and agentic AI to improve network performance, user experience, and energy consumption. It shifts telco operations from manual to dynamic, AI-driven automation for better service quality and cost reduction.
The AI Blueprint is powered by NVIDIA NIM microservices and BubbleRAN 5G solutions, enabling automatic optimization of network parameters using agentic AI. This streamlines operations, reduces costs, and improves service quality by embedding continuous learning and adaptability into network infrastructures. The blueprint allows developers to build telco-specific AI agents that make real-time, intelligent decisions without human input.
Telenor Group is the first telco to integrate the AI Blueprint for telco network configuration to deploy intelligent, autonomous networks that meet the demands of 5G and beyond. Other industry partners are deploying NVIDIA-powered autonomous network technologies to improve networks and communications services using agentic AI. NTT DATA, Tata Consultancy Services, Prodapt, and Accenture are utilizing NVIDIA accelerated computing and software to enhance network operations and customer experiences through automation and AI-driven decision-making.
Infosys is announcing its agentic autonomous operations platform, Infosys Smart Network Assurance (ISNA), designed to accelerate telecom operators’ journeys toward fully autonomous network operations. ISNA addresses operational challenges for telcos with an integrated, AI-driven platform that reduces operational costs and shortens fault resolution times. NVIDIA NIM and NeMo microservices enhance the platform’s reasoning and hallucination-detection capabilities. Get started with the new blueprint today to learn more about AI advancements for telecom at NVIDIA GTC Paris.
