Companies like Best Buy and Costco have raised prices, with Walmart and Target planning to do so as well. Baby gear sold in the US is at risk due to high Chinese manufacturing rates. The Graco car seat saw the highest price increase at 44.8%. Newell Brands raised prices by 20% in response to tariffs. A broader analysis by Babylist found an average increase of $400 in costs for new parent households. California parents face a potential $100.3 million in additional baby costs this year.
