Norfolk Southern Corp. appointed Richard Anderson as independent chair of the board, effective immediately. Anderson, with a background in various leadership roles including Delta Air Lines and Amtrak, will also chair the Executive Committee and Strategy & Planning Committee. Jack Huffard, co-founder of Tenable Holdings, Inc., has been appointed as chair of the Compensation and Talent Management Committee. The board has agreed to reduce its size to 12 members, while existing committee chairs will continue in their positions.
