Incyte Corp. announced positive results from a Phase 3 trial of retifanlimab combined with chemotherapy for anal canal cancer. The study showed a significant improvement in progression-free survival, with a 37% reduction in risk of progression or death. FDA approved Zynyz for first-line treatment of this cancer, both in combination with chemotherapy and as a single agent for certain patients. Incyte has also applied for approval in Europe and Japan.
