O’Neal, Brady, and Curry were accused of endorsing FTX as a reputable investment option. FTX sought bankruptcy protection due to billions in losses and misuse of depositors’ funds. Bankman-Fried was sentenced to 25 years in prison. O’Neal’s settlement includes a broad release from future claims and no reimbursement from FTX. The payment will be made within 30 days of final settlement approval.
