US-based spot Ether ETFs saw the first net outflow day after a record 19-day streak of consecutive inflows, with $2.1 million leaving on June 13. The streak, which began on May 16, accumulated $1.37 billion in inflows, with the largest daily inflow of $240.3 million on June 11.

Despite the record streak, Ether is trading lower than it was at the start of the 19-day period, currently at $2,552 according to CoinMarketCap. Many believe spot Ether ETFs need a staking feature to attract more interest, with BlackRock’s Robbie Mitchnick calling the ETF “less perfect” without staking.

Santiment analyst Brian Quinlivan noted a “high level of optimism toward Ethereum,” stating that more attention has turned to Ether. However, historically Q3 has delivered the lowest average returns for Ether, averaging just 0.88% since 2013. SharpLink Gaming acquired 176,271 Ether for $463 million on June 13, becoming the largest publicly traded holder of ETH.
