Intact Financial’s BrokerLink has acquired three regional insurance brokerages in Canada, including Avergate and Keyes in Ontario, and CDM in Alberta. The financial details of these deals remain undisclosed. Avergate specializes in high-net-worth personal insurance, while Keyes offers specialty commercial and personal insurance products. CDM brings over 20 years of experience in personal home and auto insurance to BrokerLink.

BrokerLink president Joe D’Annunzio stated that these acquisitions strengthen their presence in Ontario and Alberta, allowing them to serve more customers with insurance solutions and support Canadian communities. In March, BrokerLink also acquired Bankers and Traders Insurance, Aspen Insurance Brokers, and SeaLand Insurance. Aspen Insurance is known for its coverage in personal home, auto, travel, and commercial insurance, while Bankers and Traders Insurance specializes in high-net-worth personal insurance. SeaLand Insurance operates in the marine industry.

BrokerLink is a Canadian property and casualty insurance brokerage with a network of over 200 branches and employs more than 4,000 people. This acquisition aligns with their goal of expanding expertise, enhancing offerings, and building stronger connections with customers and businesses.
