Hudbay Minerals Inc. has resumed operations in Snow Lake after the lifting of evacuation orders on June 14, 2025. The Company is working closely with local communities to provide support to employees affected by the wildfires. There has been no structural damage to Hudbay’s infrastructure. Mining activities at the Lalor mine have resumed, with a focus on gold zones. Milling activities at the New Britannia gold mill are expected to ramp up, while the Stall base metal concentrator will follow. Hudbay has committed over $2 million in support funding and is working on rebuilding efforts with local authorities.
