Stardust Power (SDST) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Ohio University for a strategic partnership on advanced lithium extraction and refining technologies, focusing on Direct Lithium Extraction. This collaboration aims to accelerate research on lithium production from brine sources, supporting a concept paper submitted to the U.S. Department of Energy. Stardust Power will provide raw material samples, technical expertise, and input on refining processes. The partnership could lead to domestic lithium processing innovations, benefiting Stardust Power’s central processing plant in Muskogee, Oklahoma. This initiative has the potential to secure sources of lithium brine feedstock for the company’s operations.
