Nasdaq: Tesla Faces Probe In Norway Over Suspension Failure In EV Cars
From Nasdaq:
Norway’s Traffic Safety Regulator is investigating Tesla for suspension failures in its Model S and X vehicles, following reports from more than 10 customers in 2022. The agency has requested Tesla to look into the complaints and is expected to make a decision on the inquiry by Christmas. A Reuters investigation found that Tesla has been aware of the suspension failures but continued to blame drivers for the defects. If negligence is found, the vehicles would be recalled, and the issue reported to the European Union’s Safety Gate. Despite the probe, Tesla’s stock is up 3.06% to $254.71 on the Nasdaq.
