Dow Jones & Company: Pace of Japan’s consumer inflation slowed in November

From Dow Jones & Company:

In November, Japan’s overall consumer prices rose 2.8% from a year earlier, a decrease from the 3.3% increase in October, but still above the Bank of Japan’s 2% target. Consumer inflation, excluding volatile fresh food and energy, increased 3.8% from a year earlier, compared to 4% growth in October. This suggests that inflation is still a concern in Japan, although the rate of increase has slowed slightly.
