DraftKings Inc. (DKNG) is listed among the 10 best growth stocks to buy by billionaires. A new Illinois tax charges operators $0.25 for each bet up to 20 million, and $0.50 for additional bets. Flutter Entertainment plc (FLTR) also imposes a $0.50 fee per bet on its FanDuel platform to offset costs, setting an industry precedent. DraftKings is expected to follow suit with a similar surcharge model. CEO Jason Robins expressed disappointment over the state’s tripled tax rate in the past two years and offered to remove the fee if the legislation is repealed. Jefferies analyst David Katz maintains a Buy rating on DraftKings with a $60 price target, citing confidence in the company’s ability to adapt to regulatory changes.
